Sprinkler Systems
In line with current legislation multi-storey buildings over 30m high must now be fitted with sprinklers, as do un-partitioned shop areas of commercial premises over 2000sq metres.
No other fire protection method can match sprinklers on their record for protecting lives. Sprinkler systems are totally automatic providing isolated application thereby preventing the spread of the fire whether the premises is occupied or not. They have no moving parts to fail, which provides added reassurance to their reliability.
In the event of a fire, water and smoke damage is reduced and disruption to your business is minimised. Smoke is made less harmful by the action of the sprinkler mist reducing casualties.
Sprinklers are discreet and unobtrusive which means that any type of premise can benefit from their protection.
The installation of sprinkler systems also allows longer distances between fire exits in shops and for buildings to be built closer to one another due to reduced fire risk.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order became law on 1st October 2006 and affects all non-domestic premises.
